How can I bind chart to data source?
How can I bind data to chart? I have set the DataSource property of chart to a ObjectDataSource but it is not working. The chart is not taking the data from the data source.

SMS 2003 OSD and Changes to Package Programs
SMS 2003 allows you to publish SMS applications when you use the Operating System Deployment Feature Pack (OSD). These applications are defined in the State Restore Phase. If you are not using the BDD 2007 Database in conjunction with OSD you may run into a problem if the program for the package has changed since you added it to the State Restore Phase.
When you add a the custom action "Run Software Distribution Program" from the State Restore Phase the SMS package and program you select is added to the OSD package. When you click ok on the "Advanced" tab SMS automatically updates the Operating System Package files. This process will then create a SMSDeploy.xml file that defines everything about your OSD program.
The issue arises if you happen to change the program that OSD is using. SMS writes the command line to the SMSDeploy.xml the first time you add it. Unfortunately it does not update this file in subsequent updates. I tried to manually update the XML file with the correct command line but it ended up hanging the OSD installation process. The only way to update the command line is to remove the application from OSD and re-add it back to the OSD package.
If you are using the BDD 2007 Database this issue will not occur as the database simple records the Package and Program name and not the command line.
Setting the BDD 2007 Temp Directory
By default BDD creates a temporary holding spot when you update your deployment points. The location of these files is your temp directory under the Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Local Settings\Temp. This should not be an issue you run into very often but if the system partition is not large enough to hold these temp files, BDD will crash and you will not be able to update your deployment points to build a new Lite-Touch CD.
This may not affect many people but if it does here is a solution. Browse the registry to the following location: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\BDD 2007. You will need to create a new String Value (REG_SZ) key. The name of the key is Temp_Dir. Simply set the value to another location on your server.

Delivering Business Value with Windows Vista
How Windows Vista can enhance security, mobility and help reduce TCO
Information technology (IT) executives worldwide are under pressure to identify and advise methods to enhance employee productivity, achieve operational agility, and reduce costs. This mandate has software industry leaders, IT architects, and decision makers pushing the limits of existing technologies to devise ways to increase operational efficiencies and cut total cost of ownership. These goals must be accomplished while managing regulatory and security concerns and while maintaining consistently high levels of customer satisfaction and stringent service levels.
By addressing critical business scenarios in several ways, the Windows Vista™ operating system can help achieve these objectives and deliver significant value to companies. For example, new technologies in Windows Vista make it easier to find, share, and use information. With its enhanced connectivity features, mobile and remote workers can stay connected and productive anywhere, anytime. Windows Vista also addresses growing security threats by helping to safeguard data inside and outside of the office and by making it easier to achieve compliance with government regulations and internal policies. Finally, with Windows Vista, it is easier to deploy, manage, and support an integrated desktop environment and to optimize the desktop infrastructure. Thus, by upgrading to Windows Vista, companies can better achieve enhanced productivity, mobility, and security benefits at a far lower total cost of ownership (TCO).
Microsoft and its partners can provide the technologies, processes, and methodologies to help customers make this transition. This paper discusses how Infosys, a Microsoft® Gold Certified Partner and global system integrator, employs a one-stop Accelerated Deployment solution to offer a cost-effective, predictable, and customized transition to new Windows technologies such as Windows Vista.
